Do I still need to add product descriptions?

Yes, it is recommended to have a default product description. Third-party platforms like Google Shopping require products to have a product description. Additionally, your product description is included in the theme's structured markup, which is important for SEO.

On which pages can I use the application?

The application is primarily designed for product pages. However, we can extend its functionality to other pages such as the collection page or homepage.

Is there a product limit?

The paid plan does not have any product limits. With the free plan, you can add variant descriptions to up to 3 products.

Does the application modify my product descriptions?

No, the application does not modify your default product descriptions in any way.

Can I delete a saved variant description?

Yes, you can delete any saved variant description. When you do so, the variant will display the original product description.

Is the application compatible with all themes?

Yes, the application is designed to work with all Shopify themes. For highly customized themes, you can use the custom installation and provided API to ensure compatibility. If the application does not work properly with your customized theme, please contact our support team for assistance.

What features does the editor provide?

Our editor offers almost all the features available in Shopify's native product rich text editor. You can:

Can I edit the HTML code of variant descriptions?

Yes, you can edit the HTML code of variant descriptions, just like in Shopify's native rich text editor.

Are there any SEO issues with using the application?

No, there are no SEO issues. We do not modify your product descriptions. Variant descriptions are added dynamically without impacting the main product description.

Will the application affect my store's performance?

No, the application will not affect your store's performance. The application code is small (under 4 KB) and is served from Shopify's Content Delivery Network (CDN).

Installation

How do I install or enable the application on Online Store 2.0 themes?

To install or enable the application on Online Store 2.0 themes:

  1. Navigate to the theme editor in your Shopify admin.
  2. Go to a product.
  3. Drag and drop the application block to the desired location where you want the variant description to appear.

Account and Billing

Is there a free trial available?

Yes, we offer a 14-day free trial. You can try the app for free during this period. If you uninstall the app within the trial period, you will not be charged.

Can I extend the free trial if my store is not ready?

Yes, if your store is not ready, we can extend the free trial period for you. Please contact us to request an extension.

How can I cancel my subscription?

To cancel your subscription, simply uninstall the application from your Shopify store. Your subscription will be automatically canceled upon uninstallation.

Is there a free plan available?

Yes, we offer a free plan that allows you to add variant descriptions to up to 3 products. Additionally, we provide a free plan without product limits for development and partner test stores.
